Region of Yaka

Yaka region is at the foothills of the Rhodope Mountains, northwest of the city of Komotini in Greece, with a history of more than 100 years on cherry cultivation. The mountain protects the orchards from the cold winter breeze and provides them with cool nights and warm days during summer, giving us the competitive advantage of the earliest harvesting in Greece in the beginning of May.

The combination of the surrounding weather conditions and the wisely chosen varieties results in exceptionally firm, sweet and delicate cherries.

Our company is named after the region of Yaka due to its strategical location in the center of this cherry blooming area.

Varieties: Burlat, Early Lory, Early Bigi, Samba, Sabrina, Lapins, Skeena, Z900, Ferrovia, Regina, Kordia
